If you are still using the PHP 5.6 for your Bluehost hosting and getting the messages from the WordPress to upgrade it to PHP 7 then there is no need to worry you can either ask the Bluehost customer team to upgrade it for you, or you can easily upgrade the same by yourself as shown below:
Check the running version of PHP
- Install the Display PHP Version plugin and activate it.
- It will show the version of PHP which you are using, as shown below it is PHP 5.6
Running PHP Version
Upgrade the PHP version on Bluehost
- Login to your Bluehost cPanel Dashboard
- Click on cPanel at the top
- Go to Programming and click on PHP Config

- It will show the Bluehost PHP Configuration page
Available versions of PHP
- Here you have the option to select between various versions of PHP. In my case PHP version was set to PHP 5.6 as we have seen above. Here I have selected PHP 7.2, and click on Save Changes.

- All related files have been updated.
