Problem
How to take remote console of HPE servers through iLO?
Solution
Download and install the below tool on a Windows machine.

The HP Lights-Out Console (HPLOCONS) provides the full iLO Integrated Remote Console (IRC) experience directly from your Windows desktop without going through the iLO web-based user interface. With the HP Lights-Out Console (sometimes called the Stand-Alone Remote Console) you can access your server’s remote console with one click of the mouse. HPLOCONS has the same functionality as the IRC application that is launched directly from an iLO 3, iLO 4, or iLO 5’s web server.
- After successful installation, run this tool. It will ask for the iLO network address, username, and password.
- On successful authentication, it will open the Integrated Remote Console (IRC) of the server.
- Use the Power Switch, Virtual Drives and Keyboard from the menu bar to take action on this server from a remote location.
