To manage and monitor an HP MSA storage array we need to log in on this. Here HP MSA refers to HP MSA 1040 and HP MSA 2040. Default usernames and passwords are given below to log in to HP MSA.
Administrative/Management User
Username: manage
Default Password: !manage
Role: Manage, Monitor
Interface Access: Web Brower Interface, Command Inline Access, storage management Initiative – Specification
Normal User (Read Only Access)
Username: monitor
Default Password: !monitor
Role: Monitor
Interface Access: Web Brower Interface, Command Inline Access.
You can use Storage Management Utility V2 or V3 to log in on HP MSA. Access the HP MSA storage server through the browser and use the above credentials as shown below:

- Type the IP address of the HP MSA 2040 SAN in the browser and press Enter button. It will open the login page.

- Now enter the login credentials and press the Sign In button to log in.

- Type the IP address of the HP MSA 2040 SAN in the browser and press Enter button. It will open the login page.

Note: I have logged in to HP MSA 2040 SAN through Internet Explorer 11 on a Windows Desktop Machine.
