If you have connected the MSL Library and Drives to the servers which are clients for the HPE Data Protector software then MSL Library and Drives should be shown on the clients for successful backups on tapes.
HP LTO Drives on Linux DP Clients
Using devbra command you can find the list of the dives and exchangers connected to the servers. If drives are not showing on the client servers then please check the connecting cables or replace them with a new one. If after replacing the cables drive still not showing then there may be a problem with the drive hardware.
- Use the below command to see the connected drives on Linux servers
